Christians, can you share some false teachings that you believe they enemy has infiltrated the Church with in the hour in which we live.

2 Tim 4:3
A time will come when people will not listen to accurate teachings. Instead, they will follow their own desires and surround themselves with teachers who tell them what they want to hear.

Mark....lol You are asking for 30 pages each perhaps?

Seriously.... every church has COMPROMISED God's Word and has subtly been changing Bibles as well as anything having to do with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit...and the Bible clearly states that God and Jesus were AGAINST COMPROMISING!

The most prevalent seems to be the Prophetic movement and New Age beliefs.... being "lovers" of Jesus...not accepting the God of the Old Testament and only accepting Jesus because He is "good"-disregarding the fact that Jesus said that He was WITH God in the beginning and that He was in total AGREEMENT with God about everything done!..."Open Heaven Portals" where it is believed that these openings are how God and His supernatural agents like Angels come through-although they are just doorways to demons and quite overrules the Bible saying that when you have the Holy Spirit God and Jesus are with you ANYWHERE....forbidding to speak in tongues-though Bible states quite clearly that no-one should forbid it... praying to saints and Mary as mediators to God-although Bible clearly states that JESUS is the ONLY mediator between God and the people...a recent belief I ran across may be old for all I know, lol, but, people are claiming that we are KINGS KIDS from the time God made the world and have no need of "salvation" and there is NO HELL, etc.,.-boggles the mind, doesn't it, what THAT conveys?.......etc.,. etc.,. etc.,...

The list goes on and on...

Have a GOOD DAY!

The reference is 1Timothy 4:1; 'But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons....'
The verses then go on to describe how and what:
1 Timothy 4:2,3; ' ... by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron, men who forbid marriage and advocate abstaining from foods which God has created to be gratefully shared in by those who believe and know the truth'.
Now - which religion forbids marriage?

O.K. Here goes. I apologize ahead of time to those I may offend.

1) nothing is really wrong if you believe in your heart that it's OK with you. (liberal denominations)

2) you must speak in tongues or you are filled with the holy spirit. (some charismatic denominations)

3) you may not wear make up or jewelry if you truly are a Christian. (some charismatic denominations)

4) you may not wear pants if you are a Christian woman. (some charismatic denominations)

5) A woman's hair must remain uncut. (some charismatic denominations)

6) Some teach that if you commit a sin and then die before having the chance to ask for forgiveness, you will go straight to ..... (legalism)

7) Some teach that you are sinning if you worship with instruments (legalism)

8) Many liberal denominations have turned a blind eye to sexual immorality in order to keep up with the times. The bible warns us not to "wink" at sin. I believe that this is from Satan because it keeps people from being close to God through continually and openly hurting their own bodies and their minds. -or not trusting Him to be obedient.

I believe they are born of Satan because they keep the believer from being free to worship in truth and some are flat out lies that fill the believer with fear. Satan doesn't want us to be close to God and fear will certainly do the trick to keep you away.

That you will be blessed financially by giving love offerings, while the only people who seem to benefit from this is the preachers that teach the prosperity Gospel.
Just one of many many more.

Edit: My faith has been damaged by false teachers and I struggle sometimes in seeking truth because of this.

1Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

Departing from faith is a doctrine of devils.

Yeah, so many "Christian" churches these days pick and choose the parts of the Bible they agree with and throw the rest out the window. Ridiculous.

A neighbor who attends Church regularly (Methodist) has the mistaken notion that it is up to each individual to find his own God. He is also of the foolish belief that God created sin. His Church supports his position - according to him.

I am the hollow, which will defeat God and Satan alike.
For "nothing" is greater than God. Everyone knows that I am nothing more and nothing less, than nothing at all.

Easy: the bible is all you need for salvation, any interpretation you believe is acceptable.
