Wow, for once I can almost agree with a tiny portion of Dr. What's it's Name's answer.

Too many people at one place at one time, using too much of a natural resource and suffering the consequences...

Just another warning sign along the highway of life. Too bad more people have lost the ability to hear what Mother Earth has to say.

AHO

I don't think the issue is whether or not there is global warming, but rather man is the the cause.

There is allot of evidence that would indicate that global warming is the result of variances in the sun's radiation and that the increase in green gases is the result of warming, and not the other way around.

The shrinking polar ice cap on Mars is anecdotal evidence that changes can occur without the influence of man.

There are a large number of people, especially Americans that don't understand or believe or even like science. It will never matter to them how much evidence there is for global warming. Just look at evolution. We have spent the last 200 years fighting over an obvious fact. A large fraction of people believe that if the topic is not mentioned in the bible, it's not only not important, but simply doesn't exist. Just take comfort in the fact that global warming will effect everything. Every area of the world, all animals, plants and especially people. There have been a number of great warmings, and great coolings in the Earth's past, so this is nothing new. It's just unfortunate because of the incredible loss of biological diversity. The immediate future has a high probability of being reduced to people, pests and pets.

Yes you are right. The water levels are now lower than the levels set in 1980.

Gee..... Was "global warming" a problem back in 1980?

Could the problem be global warming, or the population boom that Atlanta is enjoying?

Blaming a local weather condition on "global warming" is nonsense. People need to learn the difference between weather and climate.

Seems like the word 'drought' has been in our vocabulary since Biblical times.

Are you saying that if it weren't for our CO2 emissions that we wouldn't have any more droughts?

Us "deniers" don't necessarily dispute that climate is changing, it's whats causing it that we don't agree on.

Better yet, since they claim that "warmer is better", why don't they just do us all a favor and move to the Sun?
