frustrations harmlessly, why did he bury it? Is it a Republican tendency to suppress what doesn't totally support your agenda?

Our current leader would be proof of that.

Well, considering that Nixon was the last liberal president you guys had, I can forgive his little puritan side (he was a Quaker, after all).

In his time, Nixon introduced the Clean Air Act, normalized relations with Communist China, formed the Environmental Protection Agency and introduced the Equal Rights Amendment.

If any politician did those things today, the Limbaughs, Coulters and O'Reillys would be haranguing him as the most commie pinko liberal every to set foot in the holy U, S and A.

Nixon didn't seem to be all that concerned with making sure his every action fit into some kind of pre-determined 'Republican' agenda.

Nixon (a republican) rejected it. Yes.

But also Johnson (a democrat) did the same thing with another study.

It has nothing to do with what party you are associated with. It has everything to do with politics--of BOTH sides. If politicians truly cared for the people, they would do what was necessary to protect them, despite the political consequences. That is rare.

The word Pornography comes from two Greek words. The first is porne, meaning “harlot,” which is akin to the word pernanai, meaning “to sell.” The second word is graphein, meaning “to write.” In other words, pornography is literally “the writing of harlots.” So pornography can be anything that is either text, or photography based. That which is "of harlotry" is forbidden in scripture in many places.

Proverbs 6
For by means of a harlot
A man is reduced to a crust of bread;
And an adulteress will prey upon his precious life.
Can a man take fire to his bosom,
And his clothes not be burned?

James 1:14–15
... each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full grown, brings forth death.

First of all, this should be in Politics, not R&S. Secondly, thank you for putting the image of Nixon releasing his frustrations harlessly with pornography into my head. I may need intense therapy or lots of tequila to get it out of there now.

I assume you have proof to back that statement up. You should also realize that Carter would have had access and most likely knowledge of the report as well as would every president after.

Edit:
Didn't Ford and Carter come after Nixon and Johnson before?

Yes. It's not about the truth, it's about finding an "expert in the field" that will say what you want them to for the right amount of $$$$$.

How do you think we ended up in this war?

Of course. Conservatives just deny any truth that doesn't fit their agenda of hegemony. This is a surprise to you?
