whenever i can't find my car keys, i sometimes get to the point of frustration that i'll say something like, "i know they didn't grow legs walk out of here (no evolution pun intended)." the point of my question is this. if you assume that a body could just disappear, i.e. ascencion into heaven, and that be your explanation for why there is no physical evidence of jesus, why wouldn't anyone who is missing their car keys come to the same conclusion? why do we persist on finding our car keys? why don't we just accept that they disappeared and are not meant to be found again until god wants us to find them? do you suppose disappearance by means of supernatural events should not be considered valid reason for not being able to find something?

Dear friend,
No, let me answer your first question that you really have, as to whether or not Jesus is real and is there any physical evidence? The answer is yes, because once you have been truly born again of the Holy Spirit, read 1 Peter 1: 23 and St. John 3, and 1 Corinthians 15:39-49! if you will enter into a relationship with the Lord Jesus, you will begin to find that He will begin to reveal himself to you in a unique personal way, and in the way you would understand! Just as St Paul's experience was not the same as Peter's experience, but the same Spirit of God revealing himself in His great love in an individual way to both of them! He is able to help you in many situations. It has happened to me so very many times and not only with keys but tools etc. God knows where it is, for He is Omniscient, covers all space and all time and matter, for He alone is the Creator of it all! He is able to:
1. remind you. 2. bring about events and circumstances of situations that we cannot comprehend or remember and bring it into our conscious reality! The Apostle explains to us about the Spiritual realm and gives us explanations, see 2 Cor 4:18 . Then once your faith begins to grow in him you will find that you will possess a substance faith, that really is a substance and then becomes tangible and and will relate to every day events in your life in reality!

The difference is, nobody grabbed your keys. They're just locked in your car.
Jesus' Ascention was OBSERVED and REPORTED by firsthand eyewitnesses. He was SEEN by hundreds before that. Even the pharasees were unable to produce a body. And then there's the Roman report on the incident. Do you really believe that those Roman soldiers who were supposed to guard that tomb could have gotten away with letting the body be stolen? The evidence is there if you bother to look.

maybe this will help. A buddy of mine's father passed away a few years ago he was spending the night the day in his fathers house after the funeral before he had to go back to our unit, as we were in the army at this time. He set his keys on the night stand and went to sleep. When he woke up they were gone and he looked everywhere for them. He tore the house apart and found something, a letter from his father. It was written a year prior and was never mailed. It was a apology for some of the things he had messed up on in the past. He then was so moved by it that he returned to his bedroom to sit down for a while before calling a locksmith. He then say his keys on the night stand.

There is more to this world than we understand.

The keys are in your pocket, and I doubt God would have any good reason to take them into heaven.

IMO, the only justifiable supernatural excuse is that laundry monsters ate your missing sock :P

If you are speaking about the resurrection of Jesus, then consider

God promissed that Messiah / Jesus will be coming to save the world
Jesus will be crucified / judged in our place so that we can be free or reconciled to God
Jesus will be resurrected as death cannot hold God.
After resurrection Jesus appeared to his disciples, to 500 people together

therefore your premise is wrong.
your car keys does not have any divine attributes
Nothing supernatural is recorded about your car keys.
Ask for a replacement of car keys, you dont need the same.

Produce Jesus' body and you'll get a lot of attention!!

Jesus predicted His death and resurrection, then did it. That is how we know He is the Son of God, the King of Kings.

Your car keys didn't predict they'd be walking out on you. If this happens, you could probably get on Letterman in the Stupid Human Tricks section - a guy with talking keys.

Check your pants pockets.
If you rummage around in there for more than a few minutes, you aren't looking for your keys anymore.
Sinner.

Scientifically speaking, in quantum mechanics, anything is possible. Perhaps their atomic structure became unstable and their electrons and protons canceled each other out and the keys collasped into nothingness. It's very unlikely, but possible.

People will believe anything as long as it is not in the Bible.

I think you will find that there a far more people who are unbelievers then nonbelievers. Many claim there never were any keys at all so they don't have to deal with it.

No your suppose to believe that aliens came down and stole them and erased your memory. Sometime in the next few days they will come back and get you and maybe remember to give you your keys also. Good Luck..
