In the past 2 weeks my dog (5mo. Weimaraner/Rott mix) has developed 4 lumps around her left shoulder. 3 of them are almost golfball sized and the other one, I just discovered last night, was smaller but could get bigger like the others. Any ideas on what it could be?

We took her to the vet when we noticed the first 2 and they drew some fluid out of it and looked at it under the microscope. They came back and said that it's probably just a bruised area. We're taking her back today.

Weimeraners are prone to this... the lumps are usually just fat, or benign tumors, but they could be cancerous.

check with your vet. these lumps usually occur in older dogs.

Sorry yet vet bypass to asap. maximum possibly the dogs has a brilliant an infection below the exterior from the chew. they often leave deep puncture wounds which now and returned must be drained. Take dogs in the present day to the vet. The longer you're taking, the extra powerful the probabilities of dogs turning out to be gravely sick & longer the restoration & expenditures. stable success & i wish your dogs recovers.

My dog has a lot of those, not all that big, but dozens all over his body. Our vet says they're fatty tumors. Yours might have the same thing, in which case you have nothing to worry about, but I'd still take her to the vet to double-check.

Ohh I don't know, but it sounds like you had better get her/him to the vet. The only experience I have had is that my dog when she was a puppy got a large lump on her hind leg, I took her to the vet and they said sometimes puppies get them, he stuck a needle in it to sort of pop it and it slowly but surely disappeared.

if she/he hasn't had any bumps or injuries that would cause the lumps, then they could be anything from benign fatty tumors to cancer. You'll need to take your pooch to the vet to be sure.
