I just found out that my boyfriend's mother is buying me a Christmas present. Should I get her something? If so, what? What about his dad? We've only been dating for two months!

yes i'd buy them something, just get something that the mom and dad can do together, like get a gift card to a local coffee house, or tickets to see a movie, or a gift card out to eat at a nicer resteraunt, if you've only dated for 2 monthes, you dont want to spend too much money b/c that would look like you are tryen to kiss ther @ss. i think it would be nice for them to go out and eat. so they get some time just the two of them, also write a card w/ the gift, with a short thoughtful message. and dont foget to thank them for the gift they got you, if its something more extravagant, then send a thank you card.

I think a nice gift certificate to a nail salon for a pedicure and manicure would be nice. Something that would allow her to be pampered. It is a nice guesture and it's hard to go wrong when you offer a service instead of a gift.

Two months is a short time. I wouldn't worry about it. But if you want to, bake them some cookies or something like that. Or maybe just bring some flowers for Mom when you go over. Don't worry about dad. Anyway, parents don't expect thing from the kids (usually).

I would get them something. Make it a gift certificate for the both of them to go out to eat or to the movies! You can't go wrong with that!
