Even if the afterlife is real, I wouldn't see any reason for sending people to a place that is worse than the world we already inhabit. There's more than enough pain and suffering here. If there is a hell, God must be one cruel sadistic SOB.

The hell that you experience here on earth are the direct result of Satan and his angels seeking to destroy God's creation. The hell and lake of fire that God has prepared for Satan, the beast and the false prophet and all of their followers is yet to come.
