Does anyone have a tried & true, delicious peanut brittle recipe?

Check out this website..it looks pretty tried and true to me (although I will confess, I haven't tried it myself).

I boil syup and butter, vanilla extract until it balls in cold water. Mix in the peanuts (skinless) and smooth out on wax paper. The amounts of each? I just play it ear and practice until it taste good. You can practice with small amounts and adjust to taste.

Be carefull, boiling candy is dangerous if spilled on you or a little one bumps it.
