I make baked macaroni and cheese.... Usually after a holiday I have leftovers from the cheese platter.... I melt it down with some butter and flour to make a rue... Melt the butter first and add a couple tablespoons of flour.... Add warm milk and melt cheese... I've also added ricotta cheese.. Add the cooked macaroni... .I like to add italian seasoning as well...Top with bread crumbs and bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until the top is golden..

For my children I make the same recipie but, I add puree vegetables.. Like carrot, butternut squash and sweet potato to get some extra vegetables into them..... You can use jars of babyfood... It's pretty tasty and it heats up better more creamy....

good luck

This sounds really gross, but it's so good. We have been eating it for years. Boil you macaroni in well salted water. Once it's done add 1 small can of diced tomatoes, about 2 tbsp. of butter 5 - 6 slices of American cheese, salt and pepper. Mix it until it melts. It's so good.
