do you think if i just take some of that clear packing tape, and wrap it around my neck and chinly area, that it would have the same effect?
please advize.

.... well for $ 49.95 ... I can send over my well behaved dingos and they can softly nibble away all excess neck area..... You may have to have a taser handy ...just in case they get too enthusiastic

Neck lifts are rather expensive, and it will also vary by clinic and area. If you are seriously thinking about it, I would suggest calling some local plastic surgery clinics and ask them how much it costs (especially since we don't know where you live, we can't suggest a clinic, and that would determine the price).
Taking clear packing tape and wrapping it around your head may lift your neck wherever the tape is, but it wouldn't look very good to have tape wrapped around your head every day... you'd look much sillier with the tape than a loose neck ;-)
