Radiologist help.... please?

Question

They did a PET Scan on my dad esterday and found massive intake of FDG and SUV of 20. They sent it to India for review. My dad is in fine health and they said it is in his spinal canal and entrie skelenton. Please advise. How reliable is SUV?

Wow - SUV of 20 is high.

Odd that it is all throughout his entire skeleton. Perhaps this does not represent a malignant cancer but some other illness if it is taken up everywhere like that, and you say your dad is quite well.
