Please provide me a way to get rid of my shyness. Coz, i am aware that shyness s the main reason. But I ll always keep in my mind "Why to shy, I ll speak correct and exact and no one ll mistake me".. I will always keep this in my mind and only then i ll speak. But even then this stammerin is present. Kindly give me a clear way to get rid of that. My campus recruitment is gonna arrive, os i must prepare well for a clean interview without stammering.

A speech pathologist who specializes in stuttering would be able to give you the best techniques after hearing you and watching you speak. If you don't have one near you or can't afford to go to one, get the book "Self Therapy for the Stutterer" available at Amazon.com or in the estore of The Stuttering Foundation of America. That is what helped my family. Only one uncle could afford to go to speech therapy, and he found that the therapist used that book in her sessions.

One uncle told me that the more he tried NOT to stutter, the more he did. So it apparently is easier to talk if you relax and just let the stuttering happen. I was also told that they were taught to slide into a word, to speak slower, to speak softly, and to start the word while breathing out. Try those things and see what works for you.

"Self Therapy for the Stutterer" is online in part, so do a search for it. There are some good blogs also. Look at this one: http://notesonstuttering.blogspot.com/

i think you just need to get over being shy and uneasy around people you're not familiar with. once you can deal with your shyness, the stammering will go away.
