Like it or not she is an accomplice and can be prosecuted.

Sometimes they let them go because they can get information from them ... its really up the attorneys and the police.

I don't know for sure, but I'm guessing that in case (a) she wouldn't get in trouble (I mean, I'm sure a LOT of people know your BF) and in case (b) she would probably be prosecuted along with him and in case (c), it depends on how dangerous the drugs are and if the police bother to fingerprint them. Also, if your fingerprints are not on file you have nothing to worry about.

Still, you need to be careful.

My mum told me about a lady who was walking down the street with her boyfriend. She knew he was a dealer, but didn't know he had any coke on him. Well, the cops jumped him and SHE was locked up to for several years, too.

Similarly, I read an article about this subject in a chick magazine a few years ago. The author was a teenager writing from jail. She didn't do drugs, but she was in the car (being a good kid and studying) with some friends who were on their way to get some coke. Well, the police pulled them over. Everyone in the car ran. The police caught her friends and dragged them off; she ran away and nearly escaped. She was hiding in someone's open garage when an older lady appears and starts pointing at her shouting, "Here she is! Here she is!" And the police dragged her away and put her in jail for 5 years just for being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

P.S.-->I hate to be a nag, but I hope the law isn't the only risk you've considered. Drugs can make even otherwise nice people dangerous. If they're under the influence (driving, etc), they can accidently kill you. And a guy who is usually nice can still have a psychotic break and seriously hurt you or himself. If you think you have any persuasive powers over your BF at all, try to get him to find another job.
