Stop feeding her people food. PERIOD. When she is hungry she will eat her dog food.

If she doesn't want to eat the brand of food you buy, try others (introduce all new food gradually over a two-three wek process if you do). If you're using wet (canned food) try a dry variety, and vice versa - some dogs prefer one to the other. Innova, Solid Gold, Wellness and Purina were all recommended to me as good brands, by my pups' breeder and by our vet. There's been a lot of controversy recently about big-brand petfoods either not being nutritious or containing ingredients actually harmful to dogs - do some reading, ask your vet, and make up your own mind.
You can feed wet or dry food, or a mixture of both, whichever your dog finds most palatable - just remember that dogs fed wholly on dry food will need to drink more water.
'Human food' in the form of leftovers, scraps and junkfood is unsuitable for dogs. 'Human food' in the form of fresh, good quality meat, and natural ingredients, approved by a professional, is perfectly okay, and a better option most or even all branded pet foods. Personally I always recommend a natural food diet - I cook chicken, rice, broth, mince and add supplements and fish oils to it. Not everyone has the time to do it, of course, but if you choose to do so, make sure you ask a vet or canine nutritionist to make sure you're using the right ingredients and providing enough nutrients.

Hey there. A healthy dog will not starve. Don't give in to her begging - and don't feed her any treats at all. Give her her regular food at her regular time, and if she doesn't eat it within 2 minutes, fine. Save it for next mealtime.
It's important to not get dramatic with your dog around mealtime. Just be neutral and try again later - she won't suffer (though she may try to convince you that she is!)
Plenty of people feed their dogs people food, but the dogs have to earn that. Taking a class or training in Agility or Flyball means that the dogs get paid for the work that they do with mega super treats - but, that doesn't mean the dogs are spoiled. They work hard to earn those treats!
Goos luck!

Pick a dog food you wnat to feed and totally stop the human food. Shje will never go to dog food if she knows you are going ot give in and give to her. Sorry but it's like a child offering them candy if they won't eat a balanced meal what do you think the child will do?? It is the same with your dog.

Canidae- The best food for the money. You can get better but it is more expensive and most people don't want to spend to much on their dogs dog food. Go to
www.canidae.com and look for a store that sells it nearest you. Trust me on this, it is the best food you will find for the money and your dogs health will thank you for it. All the dog food they sell in the grocery stores is crap and majority of the food they sell in the pet stores (Petco, Petsmart)is crap.

Switching foods suddenly can be detrimental to your dogs digestive tract. It is recommended to gradually switch to a new type of food if you ever need to, i.e 3/4 cup current food and 1/4 cup new food, then progress to 1/2 and 1/2 etc.
Feeding "human" food to your dog is not healthy for a number of reasons, such as lack of key nutrients, tooth damage etc. unless it is formulated as an animal diet such as real chicken breasts, carrots, peas etc. Talk to your vet as well as they probably have plenty of tricks to help get your pup eating healthy again!

My dog used to be like that, just don't leave her food there for 30 mins if she doesn't eat it pick it up and bin it, but don't give her anything else she'll soon learn to eat what she's given sounds harsh yes but believe me it works.

I would not give her any human food, just dog food. Eventually when she sees she can not manipulate you into getting her way she will eat. Trust me, she will not starve herself to death. Changing foods too often, especially in puppies can cause nasty vomiting & diarrhea I'm sure you don't want in your house.

I would feed her Kibblesnbits because this has human food in it but made for dogs.If she doesn't like this, then I would see a vet and maybe they could give you suggestions. It all depends on what your dogs likes and what you are feeding her.I hope this helps.
