i just got over this guy. and i like a new one. but the guy i got over is now talking to me again. why is he talking to me now?

Because he got over you, too, and he feels that now you can be friends.
If you don't want be his friend, just tell him that you feel it's too soon for you for you to be talking again and that maybe at a later point in time you can be friends.

Apart from the tendency to always want whatever you can't have, this guy is dealing with two other factors:
1) Having been away from you for a while, he's forgotten the things that he didn't like about you, and is remembering the things he did like. And it's starting to hurt.
2) He may be aware that you've turned your attention to someone else, and that's arousing an instinctive response in him: he still thinks of you as his, to protect from others' attention.
This is all human nature, and normal. It's not confined to males, either. Be assured that he's sincere, but that the problems that led to your original break-up could still wreck things again if you start seeing each other.

Probably just jealous. He don't want you but hates the fact that someone else does. It's a control thing and he needs to grow up and get over himself.

It's because he's jealous. He probably knows that you're talking to another guy. I would say, just forget about him, and continue on with the second guy.

because they don't want you to be happy when their not
also its like they have a radar for when you try to move on and then show up with" i miss you "
tell them that's" nice I'm sure you do"
but don't take them back
'cause once you dump the other guy they start acting up again
remember they are your x for a reason!!!
they also like to try and keep you around just in case

sometimes guys have weird moments, they break up with you and then want you back. i have an older brother and he does stuff like that on acciedent, if you dont like this guy you need to tell him that he broke up with you or u broke up with him and that means you only want to be friends. Good Luck

I think the questions is why are girls like that. if you are over the old one what difference does it make if he wants to talk with you. you are over him and have a new one. don't talk to him, unless of course, you aren't really over his... cause girls are like that.

I know how you feel, my ex broke up with me, and now he's talking to me again even though I have a new boyfriend.

Well maybe he wants to be friends, or he could want you back, I guess it depends on who broke up with who, but I've known people to break up and then try to get back with the person so who knows.
