Well how old are you. I am guessing you are over 18 and if so then you can be creative and do it by having a nice meal and then giving him a card and saying it in there or just blurt it out when you guys are having a nice deep conversation maybe about your relationship and then tell him how much he means to you and you just wanted to let him know that you love him and the feelings you have a scary to you but you just had to let him know how you feel. Life is too short.

A lesson that never changes: A female should NEVER, BUT NEVER TELL A GUY SHE LOVES HIM FIRST!!!
Men are the hunters and will loss interest in a girl if she is too quick on the draw, to seem too easy or spouting words of love before him. ALWAYS let the guy say "I love you " first.
If you want to keep him that is and not have a broken heart!

Don't ever tell a guy you love him until he tells you first! You may not get the reaction you want. It could scare him :) just let him know by your actions but be subtle about it.

Don't tell him or you will scare him away. Be careful using the word "love" because not everyone wants to hear it.

If you're dating, just come right out and tell him.
If you're not, you might not want to come out and tell him that. First just let him know you're interested and then take it from there. He might get scared off if you're moving too fast.
I hope he returns your feelings and you two end up blissfully happy with one another.
