Hey My Best Boy Mate Has Just Told Me That He Is In Love With Me And That He Has Been For Many Years. Jay Is So Fit And I Do Love Him To Bits But He Went Out With My Best Mate. I Cant Imagine My Life Without Jay He Is My Everything Please Help Me What Should I Do

Wow, it's exhausting just trying to read your question.

Anyway...

For me, it would depend on the circumstances of him going out with your (apparently other) best mate. Did they go out on a couple of dates, or was it more serious? Maybe I'm too possessive, or too jealous, but there's NO WAY I'd EVER get involved with somebody who has slept with one of my good friends. NO WAY IN HELL. I'd always visualize them together. I'd never get over it.

Depends who split up with him your mate or him. If it was him. I would say that you can't be with him and still be able to have her as a best friend. Not at all. If it was her who broke up, it's still tricky but I would chat to her about it first and see what she thinks about it. The trouble is, your mate will realise that all the time she was with him, he was fancying you and may even wonder if anything ever happened while they were together.
I don't think there's an easy answer to this one. If you really do feel there could be something special then go for it, but there's going to have to be a softly softly approach with your friend and you're going to have to be prepared that she's going to feel betrayed (more so if they went out for a while). It is a bit odd to think your ex is going to be doing the things he did to her, to you..it's a bit eeeewww.

Why do us girls complain when our best guy friends tell us they love us? Ain't the one we are supposed to be with be like your best friend anyway?....And so what if he went out with your best mate?!!!Was it for years and anyway its over baby girl, but talk to her if you feel so strongly about it but dont let her be the reason to not even attempt to give it a go as you never know he could be the one you've been searching for all the time but it sounds like you know this anyway..good luck let me know how its goes I love these kind of posts x

Either go out with him or love him as a friend. Either is fine. You have to decide which you want and lay it on the line. I'm probobly way older than you and I have close female friends. We both know we love each other and have said so, but that doesn't mean we have to be boyfriend and girlfriend, we love each other as friends, we go out that way and it works well that way.

If you do, then I think you should go for it... as long as you know he was good to your best mate when they were dating

give it a shot if you both like each other then i dont see why not just sit him down and explain your worries to him first no point in losing a friendship over it.
