I am looking to get all 4 tires replaced. Any suggestions on style/brand/estimated good prices? I am looking for all weather or at least all season since I live in MA and we get quite the range of fun weather. The quote I currently have for 4 tires (mounted/balanced, etc) is $284.77 for 40K tires. Any tips/suggestions? Thanks!

That quote sounds reasonable to me for a small car. Sears usually has very good prices on tires. While you could order tires off www.tirerack.com, I'm not sure there's any advantage since you'd still have to do the work and you're tire size is so cheap already. The only tip I have is don't buy the most expensive tires in the store, but not the cheapest either. I see alot of ad's where if you buy 3 tires the 4th is free, I think Pepboys would be another good option, Merchants is usually more expensive.

Best place for tire info is thetirerack.com. You can put in your car and see all the tires available for that model. Then you can choose several to compare and they provide the performance ratings for wear, handling, wet and dry traction, etc. They also link buyer's reviewes and rate the tire as to the likelyhood of buying it again. I get a lot of tires from them as they ship same day from Indiana and they are usually on the porch the next day here in OH.
