Does a copy get sent back to him from the pharmacy after you fill it?

No. The prescription stays at the pharmacy for its records. They have to keep them for 5 years. After that point, they are destroyed.

I beleive the answer is "NO".....the records for any prescription filled is confidential information. Most info is shared only between you and the pharmacist and the insurance company that helped cover the cost of the item. I am not a licensed pharmacist, however I do have some experience as a former employee of a reputable Pharmacy chain. Maintaining privacy whether it be records or business conducted by you and your pharmacy is expected to always be held in the strictest of confidence.
