Hii :)
Ive had 3 teeth taken out, one about a few weeks back,i prommise you it really does not hurt,
You get the anesthtic (tiny pinch for 3 seconds) then they wait for it too settle and then they start, its a quick procedure and simple .
I was verry scared having my last tooth taken out - i dont know why as about a year ago i had 2 taken out in one vist !
My advice is take someone with you, take some parcetamol 40 minutes before hand as then you have some more pain relif for the sorness afterwoods
Good luck,
x

Well, maybe it depends on the tooth & person taking it out?...but I had one out a couple of months ago and I'm very sorry to tell you that yes. It hurt. A lot. NOT the actual pulling out, that was easy but it hurt afterwards for about 3 or 4 weeks. I even went to the doctors because I thought it was infected - but it wasn't.

You will be numbed up quite well. You may have some sorenes following the extraction after the novocain wears off. The Dr. will give you a prescription for medication after the tooth is removed. You will be ok. Try to relax.

Your dentist will give you Novocaine. You'll feel the extraction but not pain. Afterwards, yes it will hurt. But it's nothing a few Advil won't take care of.
