If somebody overdosed on SSRI’s (Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors), what would happen to them? Would they feel extremely happy and then die? Would they just get really high and then sick? What would happen to them?

Take your pick:
Somnolence, coma, nausea, tremor, tachycardia, confusion, vomiting, and dizziness.
And/or:
mydriasis, convulsions (including status epilepticus), ventricular dysrhythmias (including torsade de pointes), hypertension, aggressive reactions, syncope, hypotension, stupor, bradycardia, dystonia, rhabdomyolysis, symptoms of hepatic dysfunction (including hepatic failure, hepatic necrosis, jaundice, hepatitis, and hepatic steatosis), serotonin syndrome, manic reactions, myoclonus, acute renal failure, and urinary retention.

I don't think you'd feel too happy or very high.

They could get sick. They would not die. Not always happy.
