We think the People of the North of Ireland are Great. Some of them mainly because of the Political Situation over the last 35 years left them with an Attitude Problem, we noticed that they could get very Argumentative at times ,quick to get Angry. This is both types of People Loyalist and Nationalists, this is changing now and they are beginning to Relax more as things are getting more Peaceful. There was always Nordies coming down to the South to get away from theTroubles and not all were Nationalists. I have met both Varieties and they are Great People. We Love the Scots and Welsh especially, and we love them coming here on Rugby Days.We love most of the English to except The Snobby Upper Class with Clipped Voices, it Rattles People. It reminds them of the bad old Days of the Landlord Landed Gentry, who threw them out of their Cottages in the Famine Days. But apart from that we love the English People . Especially Liverpool ,Manchester, Yorkshire, Bristol, There are a lot of English People living in Ireland and they get on Great with the Locals even the Posh ones.

I don't really think about Northerners a lot, but my impression is that they are pretty much the same as Southerners, although a little more inclined to be watchful and wary of people they don't know - which, given their history, is quite understandable.
Scottish people? Easily recognised when there's a sports fixture going on, the men are all in kilts. Welsh? The few I've met seemed okay. English? Largely okay, although I have met a few who were rude and ignorant, but it was more because as a woman I wasn't interested in them as men.
Irish and British aren't that different, really. Irish do tend to be a bit wilder and more spontaneous, perhaps.

to all those people who have a problem with orangemen, englishmen, read on,,england dominated ireland badly for hundreds years, you cannot apply 21 century sense of human rights and values to 19 century mindset, who is to say in a parralell universe ireland would have treated england any better if tables were turned,,plantation of ulster is close to 400 years now, orange culture is part of irish culture,[ if you see the whole island as one], the sooner the irish accept their culture the sooner the island is united peacefully, there are green and white bigots as there is orange ones,,irish patriotism is not anti british or orange,,irish patriotism is proud to be irish and accepting anybody who is proud too,,the welsh, scots, english are brothers,,,,,,,,,,,have some of that celtic dumbass lord,,,,,,,,

People who live on the island of Ireland as a whole are great. We have a great rugby team, great hockey teams, cricket teams etc which have people from North and South working together. The Scots and Welsh are great.
That person above - it's fun being me - seems to have a bit of a chip on her shoulder, bit sad especially as she says she's from Derry - in Northern Ireland.

It's not what I think of the people in the North as a whole..... it's what I think off the protestants and also the British!!! It can't be printed up here!! But for more info e-mail me!
The Scottish are a sound bunch as are the Welsh. But as I said above I cannot say the same for the English as I have for the Scottish and Welsh.
EDIT:
Why are people giving me thumbs down? She asked what do people in ROI think of the people in NI..... When she said think that meant an opinion and the answer I gave is MY OPINION.......
Robin the only chip I have on my shoulder is the suffering my OWN family had to endure during the troubles.
EDIT AGAIN:
Where did I say I dislike the northern Irish people. And actually I consider myself to be from Derry AND Galway not just Derry.

'its fun being me' seems bigoted by the looks of things...
live and let live, there was a lot of killing and a lot of wrongs visited on both sides of a community. Sure the people of the north are fine, as are the celts from everywhere.
