That one is tough! I have to choose someone that has passed, because I still have the opportunity of one more day with those that are living. There are three people that I would have to choose between. 1)My dad, I would like to have the opportunity to ask him if ever regretted turning his back on his children and I would like to know where he is spending eternity (he was a pharisetical Christian, so I don't know). I always thought I would get a phone call when he was old, apologizing for how he treated us. When he died unexpectedly four years ago, that dream died with him. 2)My grandmother. My day with her would be spent in the kitchen, at the card table, and in her garden. She was the only stable person in my childhood and I can't wait to see her again! 3)My friend Michelle. She was killed in a drunk driving accident when she was 15. The Friday before she died, she did some weird things and I have always wondered if she knew that death was near. Some of the things she did? She passed out class pictures to everyone (about three months after we got them) and had some really sweet messages to everyone she gave them too. She brought back all of the clothes that she had borrowed from me and another friend (some stuff that she had had for over 6 months and we had bugged her for the stuff for about 4 of the 6). She even had a long conversation with her brother that night. She told him how much she loved him and how sorry she was that she was always so mean to him (they DID NOT get along...AT ALL).
I guess I would have to choose either Michelle or my Dad. I know for a fact that I will see my grandmother again!

Yes. I've seen several departed friends and family members in my dreams. Usually ever 6 months or so. Sometimes years between appearances. The one with the most "contact" was when I was napping and if I didn't wake I was going to be late for work. I heard someone whisper my name and then I woke up. I wasn't late.

I would probably have to say my father's guardian.....who I always knew as "Grandad Ken". While he was not my biological grandfather, he was the closest thing I have ever had....or will ever have....to a grandfather that I knew. I had great times with him throughout my childhood....I loved him a lot.....and I found it quite hard to deal with his passing in 2001. He was a wonderful man....and I still think of him often.

My grandpa. I just loved him, but he died when I was 12, and I never knew how much he would actually impact my life later down the road. I wish I could just have one day to truly appreciate being with him.

My dad. I've dreamed about that, actually. Just having one more day with him, but I remember how sad I was when it was over.
All I wanted was one more day after that.
I still have a lot to learn from him.

My grandfather...I bearly got a chance to know him before he was taken away from me. In terms of why...because if I had an opportunity as an adult to interact with him I believe he could still teach-instill knowledge that I lack. PEACE!
