It is not a racial law. It is a criminal law. Illegal immigration is - you guessed it - ILLEGAL. Every $100 you save by hiring an illegal immigrant costs the taxpayers at least $125. You can find the people you need from the citizen and permanent resident population. This may not have been true a few years ago but globalization has forced our citizen underclass to be less picky and self-righteous regarding the work they perform. You may have to improve your working conditions, maybe pay $2 or $3 more an hour, and (horrors) advertise your opportunity at a DOL center. If you don't want to pay benefits, have them start their own business and do a 1099. If they are with you at least 3 months, you reimburse them those expenses (minimal). To be safe, make arrangements with another company to also hire them on a 1099 basis and then split their hours between the two companies. Every illegal immigrant you replace with a citizen or permanent resident saves the taxpayers $10,000 annually on average. You will also be building a workforce you can rely on next year with less learning curve.

I would suggest obeying the law as it's not a "racial" law, its an UNDOCUMENTED ALIEN law. America does not NEED undocumented workers, what America needs are documented workers. If you can not suitably fill your positions with American bred workers, then you should consider the legal channels for obtaining foreign labour. Your beef should be with the raise in minimum wage, not the allowance of undocumented workers.

I think you should be turned in for using undocumented workers. Why don't you increase your wages so kids looking for jobs and men and women out of work would be able to earn a living wage to feed their families?
I lived in AZ for 20 years and had to leave because of employers like you who depend on cheap labor. You should just be thankful that Joe Arpaio isn't Sheriff in your town. And if he is, he will catch up and bust your illegals sooner or later.
You are clearly breaking a law and should be fined. If you get caught, will it be worth your business? You should move to Mexico and take your business with you.

If you hired criminals to work for you, you are guilty of aiding and abetting criminals in their flight from prosecution. You are just as guilty as the illegals you hired.
The excuse of needing to keep your costs down is a cop out to keep from hiring qualified American workers. Raise the cost of your services so that you can hire American workers, advertise the fact and people will still give you their business. The workers you hire can still be of Mexican ancestry if that is what you want, but just make sure that they are citizens. There are too many people out there looking for work for your argument about hiring illegals to hold water.

Actually this should level the playing field and AFFECT all communities equally - all companies will be forced to hire legal residents and no companies will be able to pass their staff costs onto the American taxpayer.
Is it fair that you may have already driven other companies out of business by intentionally breaking the law?
BTW, it's not a racial law - it targets the documentation, not the color of their skin.

If you can not run a business without paying substandard wages, you should lose your business. It is not right to prey upon illegal immigrants by paying them less than the wages your community has decided are fair. You take the jobs away from willing legal residents and encourage more illegals to come to the United States.
