do you disagree with abortion to save the life of the women carrying the child?
say abortion was banned in all circumstances, and the women or baby or both die because of this, won't that be murder in itself?
i just want your views for this circumstance only.
please do not say abortion is murder {it might well be} but i want to know if banning abortion in THIS circumstance, would be murder too.
thanks

i don't think many people are getting what i'm saying.
i'm trying to say if some people got their wish and abortion was banned, wouldn't they be sentencing a women in THIS circumstance to probable death, the point i am trying to get across if people think abortion in this circumstance is murder wouldn't they be guilty of the same by allowing the women to die {again only in this circumstance}

I'm pro-abortion through and through. Sure, if I had it my way, it'd only be for rape, medical conditions like you outlined, and incest. However, we cannot have it like that. Best to have it open for the reasons we both outlined than for said woman to be in a back ally with a wire coat hanger, right?

There are certain religions that are against abortions. I can understand in those circumstances I agree with. I heard of a religious family, his wife died in birth to their 8th child, the sad thing the Doctors did tell her she could die with another child. I don't like abortions myself but sometimes there is an exception to every rule.If they banned abortion then it will return to the back yard where more women will die.

I think it should be up to the mother. If she wants to risk her life to carry the child to full term and it could kill her then that is a risk she might be willing to take. But if she doesn't then she should have the choice to terminate the child, to save her life. But that is the only reason I would accept abortion as anything other than murder. And I have to say that Mastermind does make a good point.

It might well mean that the women would die. Before abortion was allowed, many women died because of that. But it is not murder to make it so she can't have an abortion. It is nature. It was going to happen no matter what. But abortion doesn't just happen no matter what, people have a choice to kill that little, innocent baby. That IS murder. So, no. I think abortion should be banned in all instances. It would not be murder to the woman.

I support abortion, or more to the point, I think it should be legal for every woman to consider an abortion and elect one if she wants. As to your question, I think yes it would be something very close to murder; more like a moral obligation to help the mother, IMO. I don't think, at least I hope that abortion will ever be completely banned in all circumstances.
If your are denied a life-saving surgery by the insurance company, and you die, is that murder?

No, I don't disagree with abortion to save the life of the women. (I am pro-choice, if that makes a difference, I don't know), but in a lot of religions, like in Judaism if the mother is in danger by carrying full term, then abortion is aloud. You can always have another baby, but you can never get your wife back.

Again, Abortion isn't a life or death issue. It's an issue about a woman's right to CONTROL her own body and to have a choice when it comes to unwanted pregnancy. Since it's pretty clear that the religious folks don't care for women to control their bodies they've created an argument that holds no weight...yet is given weight because it's coming from the religious. PEACE!

I am not allowed to go knock someone out and steal one of their kidneys if I need a kidney to save my life. Does this mean that I am being murdered by the law?

In Islam abortion is only allowed to save the mother's life when all attempts have been made to save BOTH the baby's life and the mother's life. Abortion in the case of poverty, because the woman doesn't want to have babies, because she wants to keep her figure and because of rape are not allowed in Islam. The father's rights supersede the woman's rights in Islam because it is the father who is the one who takes care of the baby and provides for the family.

No..In the case of a women , whom if trying to carry the Child to full term would cause the death of the Mother.
Then I would agree.

But that is the only circumstance.
