I wash it the night before! Typically it sits to perfection the day you go to the hairdressers, and i always ask myself, "why do i need it cut?" lol!

They will wash your hair before cutting it. It's easier to cut wet/damp hair. The hairdresser will know what's best for your hair and how to add products and dry it without making it frizzy. Don't worry about washing and straightening your hair before your trip to the salon, it would be a waste of time. Chances are, no one you know will see you on your trip there anyway. And it doesn't matter what strangers think. If you're insecure, maybe wear a hat or a scarf on the way over, but I'd go natural :-)

If you are not getting it washed at the hairdresser's, yes. If you are getting it washed, you can wash it if it's greasy, but otherwise it should be ok. Usually the hairdresser will run their fingers through your hair a few times before washing it, so you may want to wash it if it's gross. Hope that helps!

I wash my hair before I go to the salon only because it is easier to cut when you don't have product in it. I know some stylist will use a little bit of product and then spray water on it to make it go all through out your hair, like a little trick or something, so when I put a lot on to style my hair I don't think it helps when they cut it. You have to remember what type of salon you are going to, the chains, I would wash my hair just because they just cut and go, sometimes they wash afterwards which is pointless and sometimes they wash before, but higher end salons will wash before and style after. So to answer your question I do just because it's easier to work with and it goes a little faster, and it keeps from stuff leaking in my eyes or on my face and then sometimes I don't because they wash it for me, it really all depends on the salon though.

Always. I have to wash my hair everyday without fail or it looks really flat and lifeless so no matter where I'm going i have to wash it before i leave the house. i know its quite pointless really as my hairdresser washes it again but still, i don't want to look dread full on my way there.

Ha Ha - yes Bex!!! I actually have a hairdresser come to my home and I always wash it the day before she comes! I find my blow dry last longer 'cos I don't think hairdressers give it the good old scrub that I do!!! xx

Not right before. I shower in the morning, wash my hair, and go to the hairdresser whatever time my appointment is.

I went to get my hair cut a few days ago. I was about to leave the house, when i thought what if my hair is smelly.(Even tho i wash it every other day) So i went back and washed it. Then i went to get it cut with wet hair. I have thick hair, so i saved her the time it takes to wash it. Some charge to wash it . this one doesn't. I am a beautician so it would not make a difference to me,if it was wet or not!

I do try to remember to do that these days....I probably don't wash my hair quite often enough....so I always try to wash it before having it cut....I would rather do it myself than ask the hairdresser to do it, that is for sure!
