Christmas is a pagan holiday, nothing more. It's about "Sun worship."
"The well-known solar feast of Natalis Sol Invicti, the nativity of the unconquered sun, celebrated on 25 December, has a strong claim on the responsibility for our December date."
- The Catholic Encyclopedia, Volume 3, page 727.
Corporate State "Christians" celebrate it because it has been passed down through the international (false) church-state system. Look around you : Observe all the cities, states, national governments, AND their corporate entities - all celebrating the increased intake of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ this time of year.
They don't worship the true Messiah, never have. They worship the Pope. For it is he who is leading the ceremony.
Turn on the boob-tube the evening of the 24th and see.
From the Greek : Christ-miseo (Christ-detester)
From the Hebrew : Mashiach-m'ss' (Messiah-trial)
"My people are destroyed for dearth of knowledge."
So, you see, it is YOUR hol-i-day; and our Sovereign Yahshua is NOT a part of it.

I don't know about you, but I'm Christian and I am most definitely not celibate on Christmas. I'm married, and Christmas is a time to celebrate life, family, and Jesus' birth (even if he was actually born in April or June), so I'm all for having sex.

CHRISTians don't celebrate Xmas, they celebrate CHRISTmas or Christ's mass.
The scoffers, unbelievers and mockers celebrate Xmas.
So, let's keep CHRIST in Christmas and celebrate His birthday.

Using Xmas for Christmas used to bother me a lot then I learned that X is really a common and ancient Greek abbreviation for Christ.
Jesus Christ in Greek is ΙΗΣΟΥΣ ΧΡΙΣΤΟΣ and written in the English alphabet is "IHCOYC XPICTOC" or "IHSOYS XPISTOS"
Starting in the third century the nomina sacra, or names of Jesus, were sometimes shortened by contraction in Christian inscriptions, resulting in sequences of Greek letters such as:
• Jesus •
I (iota)
IH (iota eta)
IC (iota sigma) (first and last letter)
IHC (iota eta sigma)
IHS (iota eta sigma)
JH (iota eta)
JC (iota sigma)
JHC (iota eta sigma)
JHS (iota eta sigma)
• Christ •
X (chi)
XP (chi rho)
XC (chi sigma) (first and last letter)
XPC (chi rho sigma)
XPS (chi rho sigma)
• Jesus Christ •
IX
IC XC
IHS XPS
JX
JC XC
JHS XPS
The Greek letter sigma has been translated as both "C" and "S"
The Greek letter iota has been translated as both "I" and "J"
If abbreviating the name of Jesus Christ is good enough for the ancient Christian catacombs then I will let it slide.

With love in Christ.

True Christians do not celebrate Christmas.
Members of Christendom's churches do, but not true Christians.
