it's because they love to play a lot..they spend their time to look or find something they can play to,and if ther's nothing to play with..they'l just eat it...or maybe that cat's already hungry and need to have some food.. =)

They usually cant digest normal food anyways. would you want them to be eating food that they throw up later anyways. stiick with cat food instead. you'll be happy you did
