Hi,
Under a consumer License it is not possible to "roll back" to Windows XP home or Pro. HOWEVER, if you have a Vista Business or Corporate edition it may be possible to request a downgrade CD from the manufacturer
With XP OEM CD's now under £50 inc VAT (£65 for XP PRO) (brand new) It is easier to just do a format and clean install with the new XP CD (backup first of course!)
Hope that helps
James

It is but - first off - was this a upgrade or a fresh install - if upgrade over Vista then this is known to cause problems - a format of the hard drive and a clean install of Vista should clear up any issues.
I have Vista and I rate it highly - never had a problem - much better than XP

oh confident, 1st you desire to backup any data you desire to maintain 2d you may reinstall the OS via applying between the XP OS set up CD's, then format the full laptop third setup the shape you like XP to be configured 4th placed back all your data and you're completed!!!! that's an hardship-free and easy subject to do, in case you have any questions touch me :) you may now't creat a duel boot for one reason, domicile windows demands that the main present day working gadget be put in last9ecd169659886b4ca3add012c1ed8394 now it will be easiest to do what I easily have completed above, (Being somebody who has over 10 computers in his domicile, and ran various colleges without concern) so as somebody who's extremely understanding approximately reinstallations i might advise which you persist with steps a million-4 by way of fact its the simplest way :P

yes, but if you had vista pre-installed on your computer you may have some problems with the drivers not syncing with XP. i would just wait till the release sp2 for vista in the next two years or so just keep reporting your problems to Microsoft....

You need to be careful, if you bought the pc new with Vista pre loaded, then probably not as this would invalidate the warranty.

Yes. You'd need to reformat it again and install Windows XP.

Join the hundred's that don't like it.
I really don't know, but call your local Circuit City, Best Buy and they can tell you.
I wouldn't buy it if you pay me to have it.
