I would start by spelling out the word CHRISTmas instead leaving Christ out of it. That would go farther in showing your faith to me than abbreviating Christ out.
Maybe I read to much into the term x-mas, but it just offends me in the culture wars of today
anyway.......there are several passages to show concerning what you want to say
Bible.com is a good on line reference that you can use to search these words.

You are an imposter. You are going to give your husband a bible, but you took Christ out of Christmas. And truly, why would you have to say anything about faith, love and forgiveness? Your husband can read about it in the bible you give him. You sound like a control freak to me. If you really love Christ, the bible and your husband, why don't you study the bible together with him. I think there is something in the bible for you too.

Jed is correct. 1 Corinthians 13 is the love chapter and ends with.
1 Corinthians 13:13 But now faith, hope, and love remain--these three. The greatest of these is love.

You don't need to say anything. Let the Bible speak for itself.
You could give him a devotional book to go along with it...to help get him started in reading the Bible.

I think this is beautiful, I would have your names gold lettered inscribed on the front, with Faith, Love and Forgiveness. Merry Christmas, and Good Blessings To You BOTH! :)

Don't say anything. See if you can find a bookmark with 1 Corinthians chapter 13 printed on it.
Or, a card to go with it that has that chapter on it.

How about "I believe in you. I love you. I know God believes in us and loves us too, and has a great plan for us. Let's leave the past behind and let God move us forward."
Hope you have a very happy Christmas!

Actually, a bible would be a nice addition. They make great footrests and paperweights--also you can also use them when you run out of toilet paper.
They also have a great tendancy to collect dust in peoples houses....so, yes, you could buy your husband a dust collector, I wonder if I could patent that?

"Here you go, dear. There's a lot you should read in here about forgiveness. Read it and absorb it for later, because I may cheat on you."
