By concussion grenade, I'm talking the textbook kind. The shock-wave kind as opposed to the Flash-bang kind. I know they can cause massive internal bleeding, but I don't know what range.
I need 3 ranges:
Killing-range (As in, immediate death.)
Lethal-range (Probably gonna die due to injury.)
Injury-range (Low chance of death.)
I'm writing a story and I don't want to skimp on details... Somehow I think posting this on Yahoo answers seems to contradict that..

The reason for a concussion grenade is non-lethal effects; I am sure that at point blank range they could be lethal but they are designed not to be. Even a flash-bang can be lethal but you practically have to lay on it to be that way and the same is probably true of the pure concussion. So your lethal ranges would be zero for all practical purposes the effective to cause the stun effect you want would be approximately five meters; causes less severe injuries further out and could be effective to some extent to 10 meters but if memory serves me correctly that is what the text book says on them. Actually using it in an open area is much less effective-they are designed for use in an enclosed area (bunkers, rooms, and so on).

A concussion grenade has no real lethal effect. The ones that do are the fragmentation grenades. They have an effective range for killing of 10 meters. Beyond that you have possibility of shrapnel injury up to 50 meters. The issue is the fact that the blast radiates out in a conical fashion and with distance, the possibility of being hit by shrapnel diminish.

It's about 2m casualty radius for the MK3A2, The German Model 24 was about the same. DOD states it will fling bits and secondary as far as 200m. Concussions are offensive in nature as you know, and really are not good for killing. The are good at motivating your opponent to move so you can shoot them.
