carrie got hers at 14.
there isnt an auto matic clock. different ages from 10 to 16 i guess

It depends on when the girl goes into puberty. Studies have shown that the increase in protein in our daily diets have been leading girls to start menstrating at earlier ages. Some have started puberty as young as 6 years. Girls that are more athletic, such as gymnists, may not start until they are 16 or older. I started when I was 10, but my father had just died and that may have triggered it. I have 6 sisters from the same parents and we all started between 10 and 14.

It differs for each girl. It usually ranges anywhere from 8 or 9 to 16... There have been some cases where girls don't get it until they are 18 but it is very rare.

I think the easiest thing to do may have been to, ask someone a little closer to home.
But as you ask, i would say it does vary, however i would say the an overall average would be between the ages of 9-19, maybe some a little earlier and some later.

girls normally get there period beteen ages 12-16, passed 16, they normally should go see a doctor, but the average age is 13, thats when puberty will start, and everything will start growing..

Normally between 11-13.
Early ages from 8 1/2 - 9 yrs. (abnormal)
Late ages from 14- never.(abnormal)

How much milk do you drink? How much hormone-laden meat and poultry? What is your ethnic makeup? How old was your mother when she started? All these things (and more) factor into the time. As stated before, 8-18, with most in the 12-15 range.

Everyone is different. I started at 12, my sister started at 16...I think the average age is 14.

i got mine at 11 but it varies usually between the ages of 10-18. it usually follows in the family like my mum started at 10 so i was early at 11.
