its not compulsory that we should always speak the truth...
but i think we should always speak da truth because we dont lie to the other person but we lie to ourself...
yeh..you r partly right..whats da use of truth in this selfish world...and da answer is..ask ur heart..

The truth has power, but is not easily arrived at. Often it is between opposing viewpoints. It takes less energy to represent the truth, but a lot of energy to arrive at it. You have to always be open to new ideas and imformation, and be able to listen to others, that may have knowledge and ideas that you may not have considered before. Some truths may be simple, but most are complex and hard to pinpoint. That is why every field of study requires so much education. Religion, sometimes gets to stuck in old ideas, and lacks the openness required to have the best handle on the truth. One needs always to be an active seacher for the best in spiritual ideas, and training techniques. We are always growing in our knowledge of the truth, some faster than others. God does not reward mental laziness, You must earn the truth through hard work. A respect for the truth requires we be honest whenever possible. You can not arrive at the truth effectively, and take advantage of it's value unless you use it with others.

Truth is subjective,hitler blamed the german economic depression on the jews,racists and eventually ordinary men and women believed it and millions were slaughtered for that ,truth to a christian is a book with no historical accuracy or proof is the complete words of god,me a sane man understands what lies behind religion and therefore will only believe a truth backed by science,history,indisputable facts and reasoned thinking,thus I must conclude the bible was written by man for man to control man...not just christians but all religions are based on ignorance and blind faith...thats my truth..

If you think usefulness of truth materially, you are wrong.
In our scriptures it is said that we always speak THE WHOLE TRUTH,ABSOLUTE TRUTH, and NOTHING BUT TRUTH.
By speaking truth one will be ever happy.He gets good sleep and he is not afraid of anything.He realises Him speedily.
If you feel by telling the truth in the modern days you are going to be in trouble and do not say it , that is truth, think that if the same thing happens to you and your Friend refrains from telling truth though it saves your name and fame and honour.How do you feel then.
Truth is very difficult to tell.It requires mental courage and Honesty.You may read the Book by Mahatma Gandhi'' MY Experiments with Truth''.
Truth is not spoken for some use.It should be in character of a person.

say truth bcos our conscience has been programmed that way.
use of saying truth is remaining happy and not unlike cooking up cover back-up lies all the time.
Truth doesnt need a cover. Lie need one. Lie exposed is the filthiest thing - antonym - an well dressed lie can work wonders, but be ready with a cover-up story when stripped naked.

the vast majority of us dont even have an idea what the word means. we should keep saying it in the hopes that one day, we might begin to acknowledge the truth

bcoz u always feel ur right.n if u lie u hv to face one day.n it may happen that time no one support u.no one with u.u hv to b alone.so always say truth.it helps to make u feel comfortable.so jst say truth.but not always.sometimes it mey happen u hv to lie.it is neccesary.so according to situation think twice.
