Wind Farms take energy from the wind stream. This energy moves water vapor around the globe. Without this energy, the winds can't distribute water vapor causing floods in some places and droughts in others.

This government has got wind in their head, wind up their a--e, they have to let it out sooner or later, but if its for the good of the environment then let them wind it, but be prepared for the cost. I suppose it depends also where they intend to build them as some areas will have their coastlines completly changed, good for tourist, maybe or not?

Well, there are 3 options:

- Use fossil fuels to produce electricity until supplies run out, then it will get REALLY expensive.

- Go atomic; but what to do with all that radioactive spent fuel and what about accidents?

- Develop renewable sources of energy; but it ain't cheap to do

What's your choice?

As an environment issue yes but they said it costs more money so us the tax payers will have to pay more for energy. How do they work that out,it's a load of c**p??? Bumping up the revenue even more-well what a suprise!!!!!!
