No. We have no right to force rule over others. Just so that we can benefit from their wares. (Tea-china, India-silk, etc)

Yes. The British achieved a huge amount with a limited population and a small country to operate from. Australia, New Zealand, India, Canada, South Africa, USA - all democratic countries that are relatively peaceful, with respected legal systems. Compare that with other countries of the world and the Empire comes out looking quite favourable.

We couldn't do it. Not enough servicemen and no money. The Empire was a very expensive entity. Rhodesia was one of the very few countries that actually made a profit. Most empire countries were a massive drain on the British taxpayer. Would we want to do it? I doubt it.

None Military question.
The reason it will never happen is, the "natives" are educated in the use of modern weapons and wont hand over their treasures for a handful of beads and a mirror, also Britain is not able to hold areas which demand such long supply lines.
Your opinion is not worth much for what its worth.

When either Prince William or Prince Harry becomes king of Britain, please God, then I will not think it is such a bad idea.
