your simply making the comment that you've "heard bad rumors about them" already you have your mind questioning and shading your attiutde. No one is going to be able to clear up any doubts you have, nor convince you one way or the other. What do you mean "what is it like?" people are people. If her residence is in Korea then maybe you need to meet her before you make a decision one way or the other because those who were born in other countries generally have traditions, customs, ideas, religions, language, etc. that may be different from yours. If you've never been exposed to cultural differences then this might be a difficult situation for you.

i am a korean girl...i have dated 2 guys here in america and they were both very sweet but we liked it better when we were friends...i am currently goin out with another guy and he is american...we have been goin out for 3 months now...just to tell u koreans are not racist, prejudice, etc. there are ppl that do make fun of my culture but i just ignore it and go on...i dont argue with them or anything./...we are nice ppl...we may be from different worlds but that doesnt mean we are the same

I dated one once about seven years ago. The one that I dated wasn't too bad both physically and personality wise. Of course in the end it didn't work out, but I have no complaints. Of course it was only one Korean lady so I couldn't begin to generalize them with one broad stroke.
If you do date a woman who is from another culture, it is best that you learn as much about her world as you can. That way you know what to do and what not to do so you don't offend her.

What have you got to lose? If you like her, take the time and do your homework. Read up on the customs in Korea. Go the extra mile and learn a few Korean phrases. She will appreciate what you did.
