I think you need to wait a little longer and have a better picture of the baby's pieces and parts. If the technician couldn't tell you from this picture, we'd only be guessing.
I think 16-20 weeks is a much better window to get a look at well developed parts....Just take a breath and hold on a bit longer, you'll know in plenty of time to be able to prepare for your little bundle.
Good luck and congratulations!

Well, they sure didn't give you a very good sonogram picture did they...
I couldn't tell, mainly because it is not the best picture, and it is really to early to know for sure.
When you get another, or if you have more photos from this you can look for a hamburger. What I mean is if you look at a hamburger from the side you see two buns with the meat in the middle...right? Well if you see this between your childs legs, it is a girl, if not...it is most likely a boy...

Phillip does not know what he is talking about! It may be a girl but too soon to tell. The parts start to differentiate by 8 weeks gestation but it is near impossible to tell before 16 weeks. Most dr wait till 18-20 weeks to look at that because it is more clear then. congratulations - you'll find out soon!!!

you cant tell at 13 weeks. the earilest you can tell is 16 weeks and that only if you have a really good, experienced doctor but he's not experienced then about 20 weeks
