I have a tooth abscess, and i been on penicillin for 7 days I'm finish with it now i also been taking pain medication ibuprofen 600mg and I'm still in pain, One side of my face is swollen it seems to have Fluid it, my face been swollen for like 10 days it went down just a little bit but I'm still in pain and still swollen What could be going on?

you have an infection. the antibiotics will help but the infection will not go away. go to the dentist ASAP.

I just had one pulled and it had a bad abscess to the point to wehere I had to have it drained called your deniisst or another aone and they can poke a hole in the abscess and drain it.

THIS TOOTH NEEDS TO BE FIXED OR PULLED. THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO MAKE THE ABSCESS GO AWAY.
TO HELP WITH THE SWELLI NG MOIST WARM COMPRESSES LIKE MICROWAVED WASHCLOTHS WILL BE HELP TO DECREASE THE SWELLING. CONTINUE THE IBUPROFEN.
