he is the supreme ruler of the universe? because I was watching him just now making his acceptance speech at the Nobel prize ,and he actually believes he is entitled to be on that podium, and share the stage with people who dwarf him, intellectually, professionally, and socially. He looks like he thinks he's a star wars character from the great universal tribunal????? hes killing me , Im tearing up laughing so hard now, he is such a bafoon........

You go girl.
He's nothing but a hypocrite. He goes around spouting off about global warming, while leaving one of the larger carbon footprints by a single human in the whole world.
Yes we need to be concerned about the damages of air pollution, but he totally disregards the fact that the earth has gone through many radical climate changes, long before man had an effect on the earth's biosphere.
I'm glad he's not running for president again. Hillary is scary enough.
I'm sick of the democrats preying on people who don't even understand how a federalist republic government works. Any one who is intelligent enough to look at history, facts and figures knows that:
Republicans always end up mopping up after the democrat's messes.
Every major conflict in the modern era occurred under a democratic administration, except the two Gulf wars.
Due to the work of the Regan and Bush 41 administrations, Bill Clinton took office with an economy on a steady 5% increase, but handed Bush 43 an economy headded for ressesion.
Bill Clinton did not "balance" the buget. Newt Gingrich and the republican congress were responsible to putting an end to clinton's overspending and balincing the budget.
Bill Clinton was offered Osama Bin Laden (who was already wanted for terrorist acts against the USA) but did nothing. He also gave nuclear technology to the fascist regiem of North Korea.
Hmmmm...just those things would make the nation a better place had Bubba Bill done the right thing.
Wake Up America ! ! !

I don't think he believes he is the supreme ruler of the universe. I believe he thinks he SHOULD be supreme ruler of the universe.
His hypocrisy is something I find both amusing and astounding. He reminds me of my father, who would always say, "Don't do as I do, do as I say!"
If Al Gore truly believes in his cause, he and Tipper should be shacked up in the woods in a one-room log cabin eating cabbage and carrots that were cultivated in a small garden by a mule that also serves as their transportation.

I agree, Al G. is a bafoon. His house is one of the most ungreen, energy sucking behemoths in the state of Tennesee.
If he is so concerned with the environment, he should practice what he preaches. Did you know that the last 'environmental conference' left a carbon footprint so large that it would require the planting of 78 million trees to offset?
Remember more environmental preservation and conservation has been accomplished by Hunters, Fisherman and other sportsmen, than by all the so-called environmental groups combined.

If he did he wouldn't be so hypocritical. He still flies around in a private jet while preaching to us. He has no shame. The almighty dollar drives Al Gore.

Al Gore is a liar who uses his misdirection of people for his personal gain, either monetary or political. In my opinion he has absolutly no credibility.

His intelligence, however high or low it may be, is not the issue. His greatest value lies in his notoriety and how it helps to bring attention to an issue that should be important to us all.
