No, because ultimately, you are responsible for your own actions, not your doctor. Why did you take it the second time anyway?? Grow up, and you will realize that you, not everyone else, are responsible for your own actions....

Your answer is made out of hard rock. If the Doctor determined that you needed a certain and specific medicine then you will have to prove that he did not prescribe you the best medicine for your condition. You would be better served to have the same Doctor determine a course for you that will keep you out of Rehab. Good Luck and Be Blessed.

Depends, did he tell you there is a risk of dependency. And second, when he prescribed it to you the second time did you tell him that this medicine is what made you go to rehab? The second time you were more than capable of saying no the medicine. Also, to become addicted to the medicine in the first place you had to abuse it. So, I'd say probably not but it all depends on how low life of a lawyer you get and the circumstances.

If your doctor knew that you had been to rehab for that particular drug and prescribed it to you anyway he can be turned in to your states Board of Health or Department of Health. It is very unethical for a Doctor to prescribe a patient medications know to cause addictive behaviors. With most medications there is a non addictive if sometimes less effective subsitute. Turn him in before he does this to someone else.

Well... did the doc know of the rehab issue in detail? And, why did you take the prescription if you knew it was a problem for you?

I think that your case might not be very strong unless you can prove that the doc knew the problems and didn't tell you what you were taking... then the doc would be negligent.

I'm sure you could....You can sue for anything, just winning is the question. Can you win? I don't know, but why did you take the medication twice? I think I would have went to a different Doctor. It looks like there's a little ignorance on your part too, you could have easily avoided the situation, so no I don't think you would get anything out of it.

No, you could no longer. the suitable element you're able to do is overlook this incident and discover yet another wellness care expert. in case you maintain calling this wellness care expert, he will in all probability get a restraining order and that mixed with the certainty you gulped a handful of pills in his place of work and had to have your abdomen pumped ought to land you interior the looney bin for commentary. besides, the very certainty you may ask a physician to call and inform you whilst it exchange into time to take a pill would be sufficient to convince people who you're loopy. Are you loopy!
