The distance that separates us....
It kills me. I miss him so much....I need him so much....But I can't be with him....*Sigh* It hurts so much.

It doesn't.
It's all a matter of your individual perception and how you learn to cope and accept things that happen to you. Things do not always have to be painful, sure shi* happens and it sucks...but that's life.
Fact of the matter is...if you THINK things are "bad" or things are always going to go wrong for you etc. then they will.
What you put out into the world is what you get in return, thus if you are negative about anything that comes your way...you'll get negative feedback in return.
Love is mild pain compared to if you were to be in a horrific car accident and lose a leg and have your face distorted by the fire from your gas tank igniting.
.......hmm...think about that. I believe that's far more painful than love if you ask me, wouldn't you say so?
I'm just making a point, that love is overrated and people make way to much of it. It really is all a matter of perception and how you know or learned to cope with tough situations.
*Once again, it's all in the psychological aspect...no joke.*
That's all I got.

I like Babe.. 's answer. Its so true- love is not about pain- its loveing without fear... Love doesn't make you feel pain but makes you feel satisfied... The pain comes from some other elements just like jealousy- when you see that person with someone which tends to that you THINK you own him/her.

love is part of pain. You have pain when you're in love and you have pain when that love leaves. You have that pain because you have stronger hopes, dreams and anxiousness for the both of you and you also have worries. When that love leaves, the pain that is felt is the feeling of love fading away. It's such a beautiful thing but it can become our greatest enemy.

Love only makes you feel pain if you let it. And if the person you love hurts you, then apparently they didn't love you like you did them.

Human relationships are never easy to handle & it takes a lot of time & investment to nurture a relationship - most of all with the partner who is closest to your life. that is why those who are the closest to your life hurt you the deepest.
Love is also part of growing up... & growing up is also painful..
So, love is a bittersweet pain... not always pain... but sometimes yes... it is pain.

Oh, it is so easy. We have ALL been there if that makes you feel even a tiny bitsy bit better...
It hurts, you don't want it to, but it does.
Just like going to school, it hurts, but you still gotta go if you want to learn!
Hang in there, you'll come out stronger (sounds cliche, but is oh, SO true).
Now, go grab yourself a few achy breaky heart songs, cry it all out and repeat until it is all out.
Immediately after, go get together with some friends, watch a silly movie, and laugh your little behind off!

Love never makes one feel pain.
What creates the pain is awakening to the fact, that what you called 'love' was selfish infatuation and when this failed to satisfy you and the object of your love, you felt the pain.
Pain awakens us to the greater reality of life, endure it, learn from it and GROW.

It doesn't. Love isn't about pain...but when love is lost then pain may be felt. The love doesn't cause that pain though...the pain we feel is our choice as people tend to hurt when things they cherish are lost to them.

when the one you love dont love you, or when there is love but the people cant show it, or when you both love each other but in the wrong place and time. Another is, when your in love, it is not the falling apart that its hurt but the sudden stop, and when it is hard to let go and move on without him/her.

When you just approach on your loved, but suddenly you sense it is just like bubble, you lose confidence , you feel doubt, then you feel pain and don't what's next. Are you so? I think you just wait and see how it develops.
