It isn't the hairline that is turning off the women. It is the lack of self-confidence that they have because they aren't comfortable with their own hairline.

When I was 22 I started to notice my hair thinning and decided to take the pre-emptive strike of shaving it myself. I thought people were going to stare and think it was weird. The truth is, no one looked at me before and after I shaved it, nobody cared about that either.
I ended up dating more afterwards because I realized that looks weren't that important or that women find bald guys attractive - whichever it was, you seem more confident if you make the choice to be bald over fighting it and the bald look is nice and clean. Guys that wear hats (especially dirty ones) when balding look like they're hiding a flaw. A shaved head looks like its part of your look.
I also find a receding hairline acts as a clock. People will notice the change over time and decide you look older as it creeps back. Shaving takes that away. When I did it, people thought it made me look between 25-28. I'm 36 and people think I look between 25-28 because I basically look the same.
Ultimately, whatever you do with your hair, remember that it doesn't have to influence how you view yourself if you don't let it. I know I'd rather spend more of my thinking on other things than hair. (-:

If the man has a great personality then obviously us gals can look past a receding hairline. Half the time some guys look better when they shave their head! There is someone out there for everyone! : )

A lot of men are shaving their heads to be fashionable and women love it, so I'd say, not a problem. A comb-over looks like you're trying to hide it, but if you don't have a problem with it, I wouldn't.
My husband is very bald, just a little fringe and he was that way when we met. We fell in love at first sight and that was 24 yrs ago. We're still in love.
It's what's under the hair that counts. If you're smart, compassionate and have a good sense of humour, you're good to go.
As I tell my husband, he's sexier topless!

to be honest i have never even considered a guys hairline!!
i really dont think women notice unless a guys hairline is particularly receded...i still dont think it would be off putting for a woman if she liked the guy...
guys can still be very attractive even if they are thin on top!

It's immature to be concerned about a hairline when there are things like honesty, trustworthiness, intelligence, and kindness to be considered.
