Was it really the second season's finale or are they only going on hiatus until the writer's strike is resolved to continue with the next chapter (villains) sometime next year??!!, what will happen to nathan???!!!, what happened to him was clearly what they meant when they announced they had shot an alternate ending to episode 11, one that could work as season finale in case the strike wasn't resolved, then, if it had been resolved would nathan be alive??!!, is adrian pasdar out of heroes?????!!!!!

With the "healing" properties of blood, any one of the characters could be resurrected.

It was the season finale in the fact that they distroyed the virus. End of story. The other stories are the bait to lure us into the next season. Of course killing a hero doesn't mean the end anymore, since the blood can be injected after death. Except we were told a shot in the head doesn't recover, but that clair's dad did recover.

properly, Nathan flew Peter as much as the sky and Peter exploded interior the sky. Nathan's whereabout would be responded in season 2. Nathan might no longer have died. Finale replaced into reliable, yet some information have been questionable. it will be an prolonged summer season ;)

It was a finale in the sense that the heroes saved the world--again. Peter destroyed the virus and Hiro entombed Adam. Now a new threat or rather old threat is back in the form of Silar who, thanks to Claire's blood has regained his original ability.
As for Nathan, it remains to be seen if he is dead for good. We don't know if one shot of Claire's or Adam's blood is good for just one healing or if the effects are repetitive.
