Everlasting life is exciting. God's only begotten Son Jesus, and a personal relationship with Him, is the most wonderful privilege I have ever experienced! Because I am now God's adopted child with all of the benefits that Jesus has.

To Corrosion EAC above -You don't get it!!! Jesus' dying was in God's plan from the beginning, but Jesus DIDN'T stay dead, he was raised from the dead, and lives eternally. He did this for you and me and everyone in the world, so that we could have the opportunity to also have eternal life. It would be like if you were going to be executed for all the terrible things you'd ever done, and someone came along, and loved you so much that he took your entire punishment so that you could go free. That's what he's done for us, that's what the crucifixion is all about. He paid for your sins ALREADY. It's already done, and all you have to do is confess with your mouth the lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, and you will be saved. Why would anyone not understand or want to believe this love God has for us. He wants you to believe it!!!!!!!!

It's a verse steeped in history and ends with a promise. It is hard to see to some that God himself gave of his son to live and die on this earth, but if he didn't do it, then we as people wouldn't have had the chance to be with him. So yes, I am glad for that.

Every time I hear/read those words, my hearts beats so fast and I realize how much strength and hope god himself holds. It makes me excited and anxious at the same time, for I know I could not and would not ever have enough strength and hope and faith to ever be able to sacrifice my child whether it is my only child or if it were one of millions. That is why I am merely human....

It is so humbling to me that God loved me so much that He would suffer and die for a debt of sin I could never pay. All praise and glory to the Lamb of God! I can hardly wait to see my Saviour, Jesus Christ, and to thank Him for loving me! God bless you!!!

Yes I believes too! And, also that God meant what He says - "You shall not die (perish) but lives forever ( Everlasting Life)

Do you also believes that , as I do?

Sounds a little bit strange to me... I mean, God loved the world so he killed his son. No, what he is Jesus. He killed himself? Does that make any sense? Is God still alive?!

what does not excite me is people that use this phrase as a tool to think they are the know all and end all in this world. It bothers me that there were prophets before and after Jesus and most Christians are willing to accept none.

I think it is a load of rubbish!

Oh and I have just had a thought, if God exists and he is eternal, then why did he only have one son. You would think in all this time he would of had loads?
