The Bible shows that true believers have a personnel encounter with the Holiness of God.

True faith is a response to God- in fact Biblical faith could also be called obedience (to God).

The sin drenched natural mind is inhibited by it's sin from seeing the truth without the aid of the almighty God.

This is a tough one. I do not believe in religion yet I understand the need to believe in something which cannot be proven.
Ancient medicine men and women accurately sourced remedies through conversing with the spirits. People have been healed through positive thought (faith) yet logically, there was no proven scientific format at that time to satisfactorily explain these findings. It was their faith and intuition which allowed them to progress in an undiscovered world.
I wonder if religion has roots in a human inner awareness of a creator? Faith in Gods has always existed throughout humanity, is there more to this? Perhaps. However, at the moment, faith in religion is illogical.

The main problem with logic is that it is not always logical. Logic proper is the province of the philosoper, and philosophy has no consensus as to any single road to determining the truth of anything.

If we accept the laws of physics as applied to aerodynamics, it is logical, scientifically logical, to determine that the bumblebee is incapable of flight. Yet, bumblebees do fly.

The main problem with religious faith is that it leads people in different directions, and causes them then to think that their direction is correct, hence, logically, all others must be wrong. That is, of course, can be illogical because they assume that they know what is right in the first place. Faith is a belief in the direction the evidence is flowing ...

Logic is the science that investigates the principles governing correct or reliable inference.

Faith is the wilful suspension of critical or logical thinking, the acceptance of assertions without proof or argument, and is thus fundamental to much theist thinking.

Faith is a terrible thing.

Faith says, "I believe God is real, even though I can't see Him,"

Logic says, "After analyzing all the data (the internal structure of the living cell, including the mitochondria, proteins and protein synthesis, DNA and RNA; how the brain works, et cetera), and realizing scientifically that evolution violates the laws of entropy and the laws of thermodynamics, I must therefore conclude that God exists."

The difference is that one jumps directly to God, the other has to go through some serious thinking and scientific analysis along the way.

Faith takes God at His Word on any given topic. Logic makes ones own understanding, no matter how limited, ones final authority.

We are told to live by FAITH...not by logic.

logic is limited and only works in the physical realm/area of human understanding, works on material/physical evidence
faith works in the spiritual and transcend logic, it doesnt depend on material or physical evidence,is hope for things nnot seen and certainty abt things not seen

oh and faith isnt dumb/wishful thinkin,
its spiritual, and strong,
without it whats the reason 4 livin cus nothin is definite.

The final genuine prophet to be on earth, became Jesus the Christ. the subsequent prophets to look would be the two prophets on the Temple wall on the time of the Tribulation. All prophets that are available between Jesus, and the two prophets that come on the time of the Tribulation, ( those 2 are extra advantageous than in all danger Moses and Enoch ) are fake prophets. God be with you, William, a bond-servant of Jesus <'(((>< P.S. fake instructors will upward thrust, ( and countless have already got ) you will understand them by way of their fruit, in the event that they prepare precisely what the Bible teaches, they're sturdy instructors, in the event that they prepare something diverse than what the Bible teaches, they're fake instructors, and you may desire to get removed from them, do no longer even consume with them, in simple terms leave and pray for them.

They are opposite in that logic is based on validating evidence whereas faith is about completely ignoring it.

Logic is based on facts or experience - Faith is based on belief in imaginary friends that performed so called miracles but have no basis, no fact and more importantly NO proof
