i want to be more than just saying im sorry
i've messed up real bad the past couple months
but what i choose is my choice

A guy I know wrote it. Hes not a poet..lol. I didnt ask if you thought the poem was an award winner. I'm trying to figure out what you think he means...what hes feeling.

This person is using sentiment to try to get back into another person's good graces. However I like my poem better:
Once a dog,
Always a dog!
Don't fall for this load of crap. The person does not seem to have any character, and deep down you know I'm right. Save yourself heartbreak, find someone new.

sounds like a person once had a friend or a boyfriend and there was a conflict or they just grew apart.. so "i" has a lot of guilt. but "i" says that if that friend ever needs him call him.

well in my opinion that was verry good, i think it means that you are sorry about all of the bad things you have done and you just want to be forgiven and want to let it all out.
