I don't think you fully understand BibleElf. He is the imaginary critter that manufactures (techniques unknown) EVERYTHING that is GOOD. There's another BibleGoblin (aka Debbil, Satin, TheBigRedOne) who manufactures EVERYTHING that is BAD. To understand the difference between what is good and what is bad (Is a mosquito really REALLY bad? or does it serve a purpose - - Do red back spiders serve a purpose?) you need to fine tune the StupidKnob (this is NOT the same knob many men play with when bored). AND, it is very important that you are edumacated by the right preacher as to what is good and what is bad. I'm sorry - I just can't continue with this inanity. The whole invisible man in the sky thingie is such a childish concept I can't believe anyone over six and a half could possibly consider it true. I was seven when I first heard of the imaginary friend in the sky concept - even then I was dumb-founded that actual adults considered that was in any way a reality. It was the age I realised I was smarter than most. Do I think I'm smart cos I'm an atheist? Nah - I'm an atheist cos I'm so smart. [edit] Sweeney Todd - thanks for the Eddie Izzard reminder. I like his James Mason. ~

To be a misotheist one would have to actually believe that a god exists thus an atheist is not going to be a misotheist (though I probably would be if the existence of a god were to be proven I do not believe in god and you can't hate what you don't believe in).
A lot of people probably do go through a misotheist stage when deconverting away from religion (especially if it is because of an evil that happened to them) but eventually they realise that there actually isn't a god to hate and just become atheists who don't believe that there is a god (would it be possible for someone who doesn't know woman exist to be a misogynist?).
Those atheists (such as myself) who think that theism (the belief in god) is harmful can be called antitheists though not all atheists actually see theism as being harmful (though a lot do).
You seem to be a good example of why people such as myself think that belief in god is harmful.

I think that "mistheist" is reasonably good for what you are getting at.
Do not be surprised if people do not accept the label. How can you hate what does not exist?
"Mischristoists" might have a better chance. Because some of us do not have much use for Christianity. Note, however, that I mention the religion. I, for one, have not run into any actual believer that I hate. And there have been some unbelievers that I have little patience for.

How about "Deicidal"? Thinking logically instantly kills Stupid thoughts of God[s] existence....
English lesson: Misanthropy is the hatred of MANKIND or humanity,
misandry (or a misandrist) is one who mistrusts men as a sex ( usually women, but also applies to self loathing males like Alan Alda)
Gynophobia is the fear of women ( usually used in describing married men)
and a misogynist is a man who hates women, but could be used to describe some women who hate all other women who are competitors.
Gotta love this guy with his homoerotic picture defending Christianity though.....

I agree with you that the term atheist is not a good one. If somebody loves tennis, you do not call him an afootballist.
Atheists are people who try to prove the fundamentals of their lives and should be defined in that way. People who refuse to accept proof should be called believers.
And again and again and again: atheists do not hate people who believe in god(s). They might hate the fact that believers try to impose their beliefs on other people without a shred of proof.
Atheists do not hate people, they do not like certain ideas and try to discuss them in order to create progress and more hapiness.
Repeat after me: "I will never again even try to insult people by projecting my own feelings of hate on them." If you do this untill next good friday, every morning and evening you might feel better.
No, I do not hate you.
No I do not feel insulted.
No, I will not report you to the pope, the inquisition or to yahoo.
I hope I am not disappointing you.
Have a nice day.

Your Christian God is only one of many Gods that we do not believe in. The only reason you encounter more being mentioned about Christianity is that you have overwhelming numbers. I do not hate any God. I simply do not believe in them. I do hate organized religion for the most part though.

ignorant question. and atheist doesn't hate god, because they don't believe "he" exists. Another thing, almost all atheists would not say that they hate christians.
