there's this guy nick. once i told him that jen my friend likes him . he's like " i dont care" and then he's like "i hope you dont like me , do you?" i said "what do you think" he's like "i dont know" and then i said" no i dont like you" and then he started talking about homework!!! what does this mean?? this guy nick is my friend and he flirts with me many a times too but after this incident he's stopped flirting that much !!what should i do ????

he said "i hope you dont like me" cuz he was nervous and/or shy about liking you and for some reason didnt want you to know. he probably did like you. and when you said you dont like him, he realized he wont be able to date you.

you've crossed a line.
hes terrified incase you like him so now hes backed away its an emotional thing he thinks your getting too close.
i'd just back off a little and let him come to you when hes ready (which maybe never)
oh well some you win some you lose............move on!
