The last place I worked in had an ingenious solution in the toilets. The toilet seat was hinged, with two counterweights at the rear. This meant the seat would only stay in the down position as long as someone was sitting on it. Stand, and the seat automatically rose to the 'up' position.
Simple engineering is great engineering.

Look here !! It is a thing that females will never understand ! It come as a surprise to many but male equipment is very different from females when it comes to aiming and doing it straight !! some times even when aimed correctly the stream still comes out at an angle ! This is usually unexpected ! Perhaps men and women should swap equipment for a week and see how they all cope !!!!!!!!
Cheers Pete

pree? i think you mean pee?
you dont train them if they teenagers its summat they will just do and the more you scream or shout the more they will do it just to wind you up
my mother used to leave it on the seat then when i went to the toilet for a poo i had to wipe it up myself first
sounds a bit crude but it maybe effective you should give it a try (but remember to wipe b4 you use as well!!)

I seriously hope you mean "pee", not "pree". ("pre" is a clear substance associated with arrousal)
Anyway, assuming you meant pee, I'd just tell him to lift the seat up, after a few times he'll get sick of you moaning and just do it. Next you'll have to tackle the dribbling on the floor ;) Good luck with that.

Personally i dont think you can train them.....thats a doggy thing... then again peeing all over the toilet seat is a doggy thing to do. My suggestion would be to call them all together and have a talk explaing the horrors of germs and bacteria and how inconsiderate towards you they are. Explain to them that weeing all over the toilet seat is as grouse for you as you leaving bloody tampons unflushed is for them. Otherwise you can threaten them with toilet cleaning duties for one week ( whoever messes the seat).

They sell this cute little sign I've seen in some places and it says "If you sprinkle when you tinkle, please be neat and wipe the seat."
You could just try to train them to clean up after themselves...I lived with my dad and brother for a good 7-8 years after my paernts divorced....they both peed on th seat, especially at night. I dont think there is anything you can do.

You can't. Some of them even do it on purpose. My friend's mum lifted the lid to the toilet brush holder once and it was full of pee. Teenage boy confronted and guilt was obvious.

Paint targets inside the toilet bowl.
All men have an ingrained obligation to aim it at something.
And yeah - leave the seat up

I checked on my little brother trough a hole on the toilet's door, he noticed and got so embarrassed that he stopped doing it. He was having fun doing it, he stopped for never again do it.
Well, make your teen to clean the toilet every time he dirty it and clean the whole toilet once a week, as a part of his duty, for him to understand he has responsibilities too in maintain the house clean.
