Not at all - of course, if the cut gets worse the referee can stop the fight.

I'm not quite sure what you mean, but if you mean would Mayweather lose a point for giving Hatton a cut, then it would depend on how he inflicted the cut, if it was intentional, then yes, and repeated blatant attempts to inflict a cut either with a headbutt or an elbow after a warning from the referee is grounds for a disqualification. But if you meant would Hatton lose a point, then no, since he was the one cut. BTW, Hatton didn't loose a point for getting a cut, he lost a point for hitting Mayweather in the back of the head after being warned by the ref not to do it again.

Hatton lost a point for repeated punches to the back of Mayweather's head. Not for getting cut....
